Although this hotel is not ultra-modern, the facilities were outstanding value for money. The hotel had a holiday village feel with a terrific pool area and spacious grounds of picnic areas, gardens and an outdoor bar/snack area. Restaurant was good. The location was fantastic... Right on the river with access to boat cruises, bike hire and lovely walks.
The hotel is seemingly the only place in the village where you can buy food and meals. It can get expensive if you buy breakfast, etc every day. If you are on a budget it's a good idea to take some of your own food.

The place had a special atmosphere. The restaurant here was wonderful for dinner, we both ordered appetising dishes. Included central heating, multi-channel TV, and a writing desk, and the bed was comfortable...

The location is beautiful in the Lot valley and so close to Saint Circ Lapopie, one of the most beautiful villages in this part of France.
It's true that while we stayed we hit rain, but compared to previous visits it is looking a little run-down and some of the staff inexperienced.

great view of cliff side from sitting area outside pool, mini fridge, restaurant staff loaned us some silverware to use one evening in outdoor sitting area, 3 nights for price of two
mattress uncomfortable, no place in town to buy food of any kind other than the hotel restaurant, although the next town nearby had a bakery, shower drain clogged when we first arrived, but was fixed promptly
